Tyrone Mings was named to his first England squad Thursday as Gareth Southgate prepares for the Three Lions' upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka was expectedly given his maiden England call, joining fellow uncapped players James Maddison and Mason Mount in the 25-man throng.

Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who's dealt with injury issues over the past year, was included in the midfield contingent.

Though there's excitement surrounding how those players can gel in the England squad, there are opportunities for some - such as Ben Chilwell and Declan Rice - to strengthen their respective cases for England starts while other players nurse injuries.

England faces Bulgaria and Kosovo in the upcoming qualifying matches. The first match will be hosted at Wembley Stadium on Sept. 7, with the second affair taking place Sept. 10 at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium.
