Manchester City are on the verge of advancing to the Champions League final for the second year in a row.
The Premier League outfit extended their aggregate lead over Real Madrid to 5-3 after Riyad Mahrez's strike from close range in the second half of Wednesday's second leg gave City a 1-0 lead at the Santiago Bernabeu.
