London - Swansea climbed back to the top of the Championship as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Charlton on Wednesday.

When Jonathan Leko gave Charlton a second minute lead, the omens were good for the Addicks, who had lost just once in their last 22 home league games.

Leko, 20, has been the subject of unwanted attention in recent days after it was revealed he had allegedly been racially abused by a Leeds player during Saturday's win over the promotion chasers.

However, the West Brom loanee's mind seemed on the job in hand when he drilled superbly into the top corner.

But Swansea equalised through Yan Dhanda on 17 minutes, his deflected effort trickling agonisingly beyond Dillon Phillips for his first goal for more than a year.

Former West Ham striker Andre Ayew netted the winner on 65 minutes, poking in after a flick-on by Joe Rodon from Matt Grimes' corner.

Swansea are now one point clear of second placed Leeds, who had beaten West Bromwich Albion to take first place on Tuesday.

Tom Lawrence returned to the Derby starting line-up just over a week after he was charged with drink-driving as the Rams drew 2-2 at Barnsley.

The Wales international and Mason Bennett, who came off the bench for the last few minutes, were charged following an incident in the Allestree area of the city on September 24.

The crash followed a team-building dinner, and Derby - who have lost captain Richard Keogh for more than a year due to a knee injury sustained on the same night - have said there will be a "rigorous internal investigation".

Both players missed Saturday's 3-2 victory over Birmingham at Pride Park but were back in the fold at Oakwell, where Aapo Halme gave Barnsley a 13th-minute lead.

Chris Martin's third goal in as many matches pulled the Rams level after 34 minutes, before Tom Huddlestone netted from the spot in the closing stages of the half.

But Cauley Woodrow popped up in stoppage time to earn Barnsley a valuable point.

Cardiff extended their unbeaten run to seven league games with a 3-0 home victory over QPR.

Bristol City left it late to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw at Brentford.

Andreas Weimann's header three minutes from time cancelled out Josh Dasilva's opener just after the hour.

Callum McManaman scored a late equaliser as Luton recovered from Tom Bradshaw's Millwall opener to salvage a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road.
