Thirty-nine-year-old Dani Alves, who is among the most decorated players of all time, is heading to Qatar as one of 26 players in Brazil's squad for the 2022 World Cup.

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino, who has six goals and three assists in 12 Premier League appearances this season, didn't make the cut.

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar headlines Tite's roster, which includes 12 players from the Premier League, three from Champions League winners Real Madrid, and another three from Brazil's Serie A.

Nine forwards in all will suit up in Qatar.

Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli earned call-ups, but teammate Gabriel Magalhaes missed out.

Brazil begins play in Group G on Nov. 24 against Serbia. The Selecao, who've won the tournament on five occasions, face Switzerland four days later and then Cameroon on Dec. 2
