Frank Lampard has emerged as a possible candidate to fill Norwich City's managerial vacancy.

Norwich officials met with Lampard on Monday to discuss the position amid the club's search for Daniel Farke's successor, according to The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.

Talks between the two parties were reportedly exploratory as Lampard is one of three candidates being considered for the role.

The 43-year-old hasn't decided whether he'd accept an offer to coach the Canaries, Romano adds.

Lampard began his coaching career at Derby County in 2018 before being appointed manager at his former club Chelsea. He worked with the Blues for a year and a half, but the team sacked him in January 2021.

Norwich relieved Farke of his duties Saturday, shortly after the club's first Premier League win of the season. Despite the victory, the German manager left the squad in last place with just five points from 11 games.
