Mario Lemina is apparently attracting high-level interest after being left out of Southampton's preseason camp in Austria.

Manchester United, Arsenal, and Leicester City have all enquired about Lemina's availability, according to The Telegraph's Sam Dean, after Saints manager Ralph Hasenhuttl conceded it was likely the unsettled midfielder would leave this summer.

The 25-year-old dealt with a succession of injuries last season, starting under half of Southampton's Premier League matches as a result. However, it's understood the club is trying to recoup the £18 million it paid Juventus for his services two years ago.

United and Arsenal are both scouring the transfer market for a central midfielder after losing Ander Herrera and Aaron Ramsey, respectively, to the Bosman ruling earlier this summer. Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola are also trying to engineer an exit from United. Leicester City's business, meanwhile, is not over after brokering permanent deals for Youri Tielemans, Ayoze Perez, and James Justin.

"The last four months have not been easy for me, with my injury. The coach put his team together. I want to start afresh, so why not leave?" Lemina, who was brought to the south coast by Mauricio Pellegrino, is quoted as saying.

"They are giving me the opportunity to be able to go elsewhere. We are working on it with my agents, we are not putting ourselves under any pressure. We are waiting for the best project, the best offer."

Lemina was unable to represent his native Gabon at this summer's Africa Cup of Nations after it fell below Mali and Burundi in its qualification group in March.
