Christian Eriksen's four-game absence could come to an end this weekend, as he is available to play Saturday against West Ham United, the team announced.

The Tottenham playmaker hasn't featured since the win over Brighton and Hove Albion on Sept. 22 because of an abdominal problem. There were fears he could be out long term following a suggestion from Denmark manager Age Hareide that the injury could be "chronic," which Eriksen's agent, Martin Schoots, denied.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino praised Hareide's clarification, adding that Eriksen will be available this weekend either as a starter or off the bench.

"Christian's agent explained fantastically after the comment of the Denmark manager," Pochettino told reporters, according to David Hytner of the Guardian. "Christian is ready again to compete and play but it will be our decision if he's going to play on Saturday or not - from the beginning or from the bench. That's a decision I'm going to take on Friday. I think there's nothing to say about the comment of the Denmark manager."

Mousa Dembele is also available Saturday after overcoming a thigh injury which has kept him out of action since Sept. 29.

Meanwhile, Pochettino revealed that Dele Alli is close to recovering from a hamstring injury, saying the England international could return to training next week.
