Ryan Garcia has declared that he wants another shot at Gervonta "Tank" Davis.

Garcia called out the WBA lightweight champion Tuesday on X, three days after Garcia upset WBC junior welterweight champion Devin Haney in a highly anticipated match in Brooklyn. Garcia said he wants the rematch with Davis to happen if Davis beats Frank Martin on June 15.

Davis knocked out Garcia in the seventh round of one of the most highly anticipated boxing matches of 2023. That was Garcia's first career defeat, but the 25-year-old star has bounced back in a big way with wins over Oscar Duarte and now Haney, who entered Saturday's bout as one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world. Garcia knocked Haney down three times en route to a majority decision victory.

Garcia, who was scheduled to face Haney at the junior welterweight limit of 140 pounds but missed weight by 3.2 pounds, said he wants the rematch with Davis to happen at a 144-pound catchweight. Davis and Garcia fought at a 136-pound catchweight last April and both made weight.

Davis' fight against Martin will mark his first trip to the boxing ring since his victory over Garcia. Undefeated at 29-0, Davis was elevated as the full WBA lightweight champion when Haney vacated the title last December to move up a weight class.
