Mike Tyson won't face criminal charges after he was involved in an altercation with a passenger on a flight in April, the San Mateo County district attorney announced Monday, according to TMZ Sports.

Tyson won't be charged because of "the conduct of the victim leading up to the incident, the interaction between Mr. Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim and Mr. Tyson," said District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe.

The 55-year-old former boxing champion was caught on video punching a man seated behind him on a flight from San Francisco to Florida.

Tyson's representation said the man, who apparently annoyed Tyson multiple times before the incident, threw a water bottle at the boxing legend.

"The Baddest Man on the Planet" hasn't boxed in a professional bout since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005, but he did return to the ring to face Roy Jones Jr. during a 2020 exhibition event.
