Former heavyweight boxing champion Evander "Real Deal" Holyfield is returning to the ring on June 5 in an eight-round exhibition bout against Kevin McBride, a source told Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix.

Holyfield and McBride's bout is part of the undercard for Teofimo Lopez's lightweight title fight against George Kambosos and will be streamed on Triller.

The 58-year-old Holyfield has reportedly tried to secure a trilogy fight against Mike Tyson, who fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match last November.

Holyfield was 44-10-2 with one no-contest before officially retiring in 2014 after more than three years without a fight. The Alabama native was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2017.

McBride is also coming out of retirement for the fight.

The 47-year-old is best known for his knockout win over Tyson in 2005. Tyson retired after the fight.
