Irish boxer Luke Keeler - who called out countryman Conor McGregor for his recent conduct in an Irish bar - now claims that the mixed martial artist has agreed to a fight.

The situation began when Keeler criticized and challenged McGregor after a video surfaced that appeared to show the latter sucker-punching an older man in a pub over a whiskey dispute.

Days later, Keeler said McGregor angrily agreed to a fight over the phone.

Keeler owns a boxing record of 17-2-1 and has already fought twice in 2019.

McGregor's only foray into the boxing ring came in August 2017 when he lost by TKO to undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Meanwhile, McGregor owns a 21-4 record in mixed martial arts, though he hasn't fought since October when he lost to lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
