Floyd Mayweather may again be lured from retirement for a potentially big payday against a UFC fighter.

The undefeated (50-0) Mayweather says a fight against undefeated lightweight UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (27-0) is "happening," according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN. And Mayweather has his eyes set on a significant check awaiting him.

"When I face Khabib, I'm getting a nine-figure payday," Mayweather said. "Yes, more than the (Conor) McGregor fight. Probably $100 million more, guaranteed. It could be somewhere upwards of $110 (million) to $200 million guaranteed."

Khabib recently called out Mayweather in an Instagram video alongside Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, saying there can be "only one king."

Mayweather seems to have accepted the challenge.

"We're fighting," Mayweather told TMZ Sports. "I'm my own boss. I can't say what's going on on Khabib's end, but on my end we can make it happen."

McGregor had been eyeing a rematch with Mayweather following his 10th-round TKO loss last year. But Mayweather now appears to have his eyes set on the UFC's reigning lightweight champion after Khabib's victory at UFC 229 earlier this month.

And he's adamant the fight will be in the boxing ring.

"Who's the 'A-side?' He called me out so you have to come to my world," Mayweather said. "I seen in an interview, he said when he hit Conor McGregor, he knocked Conor McGregor down. He said I didn't knock Conor McGregor down. OK, Khabib. You got my leftovers. Whoop-dee-do."
