Former eight-season NBA veteran Glen Davis will avoid jail time stemming from his arrest for drug possession and distribution last year, according to The Associated Press.

Instead, the man known as "Big Baby" will pay a $15,000 fine and have the charges dropped, his attorney, Brandon Meads, announced.

Davis was arrested in Maryland last February while possessing four ounces of marijuana and $92,000 in cash.

He played in the NBA from 2007-15 for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, and Los Angeles Clippers. Last summer, he helped the Power win the BIG3 championship.
