London Knights forward and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan is the recipient of the Red Tilson Trophy as the OHL's Most Outstanding Player in 2023-24.

The trophy is voted on by writers and broadcasters that cover the league.

Cowan, 18, recorded 34 goals and 62 assists in 54 games this season. His 96 points tied for sixth in the league, and his 1.78 points-per-game ranked second.

The Mount Brydges, Ontario, native held a 36-game point streak during the regular season, setting a Knights record. It was also the longest OHL point streak since 1995.

Cowan has added 14 points in 12 playoff games. London currently leads the Saginaw Spirt 3-1 in the best-of-seven series in Round 3.

The Maple Leafs selected Cowan 28th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft. The pick, originally owned by the Boston Bruins, was acquired by Toronto from the Washington Capitals in the trade that sent Rasmus Sandin to D.C. It was also the first draft pick under new Leafs general manager Brad Treliving.

Maple Leafs winger Mitch Marner was the last Knights player to win the award in 2016.
