North Carolina's Maye has 1st half for the ages

North Carolina is all over Butler at the half and the Tar Heels can thank Luke Maye for that.

The sophomore has ignited Roy Williams' crew with a career-high 14 points and a career-high three triples. Maye also added nine rebounds, just two less than the Bulldogs had as an entire team.

Did we mention this was only after the first half?

Maye has been averaging just 13 minutes per game this season to go along with 5.1 points and 3.8 rebounds, so his inspired play in the Sweet 16 contest is going to be a challenge for Butler overcome.
