Dennis Schroder appears willing to squash the beef between him and John Wall.

Despite engaging in several spats with the Wizards point guard over the years, Schroder hopes the two can have a more civil relationship this summer, as he plans to work out with both Wall and the Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving this offseason.

"To compete against almost the best point guard in the league, you get better every game," Schroder told Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I told him already I want to work out in the summer. I told that to Kyrie. Kyrie told me that too. You keep getting better playing against these guys."

Wall revealed last week that the rivalry between him and Schroder began in 2015, when the German guard posted an Instagram photo of the two after the Hawks eliminated the Wizards in the playoffs.

The All-Star guard hasn't forgotten about the photo, staring down Schroder in Game 2 following a breakaway dunk.

While Wall hasn't ruled out the possibility of working out with Schroder, he admitted he typically does his off-season training alone.

"I really don’t work out with anybody to be honest," Wall told Candace Buckner of The Washington Post.
