Maine-Endwell Little League from Endwell, N.Y. - representing the Mid-Atlantic region - defeated South Korea 2-1 in South Williamsport, Pa., to win the 2016 Little League World Series on Sunday.

Endwell's Ryan Harlost lifted his team to the title with a dominant two-way performance, throwing a complete game on the mound while also scoring the winning run on a passed ball in the fourth inning.

Yoomin Lee's fifth-inning homer was South Korea's only run of the contest.

It's the first time the United States has won the Little League World Series since 2011.
